City police were alerted to a car theft by four men around 10:15 p.m., they said in a release. A few hours later, around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6, officers found the stolen car with all four suspects inside, the department said.
Authorities tried to pull the car over and a brief chase ensued before the suspects ran from the vehicle on foot, per the release. Officers searched the area and arrested two of the men, they added.
During the chase, police said one of the suspects fired a single gunshot. No injuries were reported, and the suspect in question was taken into custody, the department said.
Authorities said the four were also "involved with several other crimes" between stealing the car and running from police.
